At Udaan Holidays, we strive to provide exceptional travel experiences, offering carefully curated international holidays, honeymoon getaways, and travel packages to destinations like India, Bali, Dubai, Australia, Japan, Thailand, Kashmir, Europe, and more. However, we understand that plans can change, and you may need to cancel or modify your booking. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring clarity for our valued customers.

1. Cancellation by the Customer

  • Cancellation Requests: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to our customer support team. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
  • Refund Eligibility: Refund eligibility depends on the timing of the cancellation relative to your travel start date, the type of package booked, and any third-party policies applicable (e.g., airlines, hotels, and local tour operators).
  • Refund Timelines: Refunds will be processed within 30 business days of receiving your written cancellation request. The amount refunded will be credited to the original payment method.

2. Refund Policy Based on Time of Cancellation

  • 90 Days or More Before Departure:
    • You are eligible for a full refund minus a standard processing fee of 10% of the total booking cost.
  • 60-89 Days Before Departure:
    • 75% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • 30-59 Days Before Departure:
    • 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • 15-29 Days Before Departure:
    • 25% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • 14 Days or Less Before Departure:
    • No refund will be issued.

3. Non-Refundable Components

Some elements of your travel package may be non-refundable regardless of the cancellation time frame. These include but are not limited to:

  • Airline Tickets: Subject to the airline’s own cancellation policy.
  • Visa Fees: Non-refundable once applied for.
  • Hotel Bookings: Non-refundable if booked under special deals or promotions.
  • Activities and Tours: Subject to the cancellation policies of the local operators.

4. Cancellation by Udaan Holidays

In rare instances, Udaan Holidays may need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest). In such cases, we will offer the following:

  • Alternative Travel Arrangements: We will attempt to provide an alternative travel package of similar value and destination.
  • Full Refund: If alternative arrangements are not suitable, a full refund will be issued, and any applicable processing fees will be waived.

5. Modifications to Bookings

  • Change of Dates: Any request to change travel dates is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Change of Destination: Requests to change the travel destination will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and a new booking for the desired destination. Cancellation fees may apply.

6. Refund Exceptions

  • Force Majeure: No refunds will be provided for cancellations or changes due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government travel bans.
  • Travel Insurance: We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations and interruptions.
