Our policy is designed to provide clarity on the terms and conditions that apply when you need to cancel your international holiday, honeymoon getaway, or travel package to destinations such as India, Bali, Dubai, Australia, Japan, Thailand, Kashmir, Europe, and more.

1. General Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation Request: All cancellation requests must be communicated in writing via email to our customer service team at [email address]. The cancellation request will be processed based on the date of receipt of the written request.
  • Refund Eligibility: The refund amount is determined by the time at which the cancellation request is made, relative to the departure date of the tour or holiday package.

2. Cancellation Charges

  • More than 60 days prior to departure: If a cancellation request is received more than 60 days before the scheduled departure date, a nominal cancellation fee of 10% of the total package cost or INR 10,000 (whichever is higher) will be charged. The remaining balance will be refunded to the customer.
  • 45 to 59 days prior to departure: For cancellations made between 45 to 59 days before the departure date, 25% of the total package cost will be deducted as a cancellation fee.
  • 30 to 44 days prior to departure: If cancellation is requested 30 to 44 days before departure, 50% of the total package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • 15 to 29 days prior to departure: For cancellations made 15 to 29 days before the departure date, 75% of the total package cost will be deducted as a cancellation fee.
  • Less than 15 days prior to departure: If the cancellation request is made less than 15 days before departure, 100% of the total package cost will be charged as a cancellation fee, and no refund will be provided.

3. Special Conditions

  • Peak Season & Non-Refundable Components: During peak seasons, including public holidays, festivals, and school vacations, specific packages or services may be subject to different cancellation terms. Additionally, some components of the package, such as flights, hotel stays, or activities, may be non-refundable, regardless of the notice period. These will be clearly mentioned at the time of booking.
  • Third-Party Services: For services provided by third-party suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels, local tour operators), the cancellation policy of the respective service provider will apply. Udaan Holidays will assist in processing these cancellations, but the refund will be subject to the terms of the third-party provider.

4. Refund Process

  • Refund Timeline: Once a cancellation request is processed, the refund (if applicable) will be credited back to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days.
  • Deductions: All refunds are subject to deductions for bank charges, currency fluctuations, and applicable taxes.

5. Amendments and Rescheduling

  • Changes to Booking: If you wish to amend or reschedule your booking instead of canceling, please contact our customer service team. Amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional charges, including any difference in price between the original and new booking.

6. Force Majeure

  • Unforeseen Events: In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, pandemics, war, or other unforeseen circumstances, Udaan Holidays reserves the right to modify or cancel tours. In such cases, we will offer alternative arrangements or refunds as per the situation.
